83 years of combined experience,
rapier wit, gales of laughter, lots of coffee and muffins
and pub lunches are the propellants for this group's success.
On Tuesdays, the machines hum and the needles fly as we
tackle all manner of quilting techniques, kept on track
by our whip cracking hostess and Commander-in-Chief, Coreen
Zerr. This year marks the 15th anniversary of this group
and that is older than many guilds in B.C.! Our activities
include an annual baby quilt bee, making placemats for Meals
on Wheels, sharing new techniques, helping each other with
projects and great involvement in both Parksville and Nanaimo
Guilds. The members of our group are (left to right back
row) Kathy Bush and Florence Dorscheid. Front row (left
to right) Lorie Rogers, Val Ursulak, Laura Morrissey, and
Coreen Zerr.
